OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Neumann College women’s ice hockey team earned its first win of the season with a 3-0 victory over Oswego State Saturday night.
Carly Bondra scored two goals, the first of her career. Kayla Dubowski netted her first goal, a slap shot, to notch the game winner. Mel Brunet completed her first career shut out, making 38 saves.
Dubowski scored her goal 2:48 into the game. Bondra scored her goals just a minute into the second period and at the 12:26 mark of the third.
Neumann is now 1-2 on the season and 1-2 in the ECAC West. The Knights will face Oswego again tomorrow at 2 p.m.
