LEBANON, Pa. – The Neumann College men's golf team opened its fall season at the LVC Fall Invitational at the Lebanon Country Club Monday afternoon.
The Knights placed seventh out of 21 on the par 72, 6,564 yard course with an afternoon total of 311. Cabrini placed first, shooting a 295 on the afternoon. Franklin & Marshall and Rutgers-Camden tied for second (297), York placed fourth (298), Moravian fifth (299) and FDU-Florham sixth (309). Three strokes behind Neumann in eighth place was Messiah (314).
Matt Waddington shot a two under par (74) to lead the Knights. Chris Donohue and Mike Marrnic shot a 77. Rich Brandel and Tom Moran rounded out the Knights scoring with an 83 on the afternoon.
Neumann will be on the course next on Oct. 6 as they travel to Lititz, Pa for the Bent Creek Invitational, hosted by Franklin & Marshall.
