CHESTER, Pa. - The women's soccer team took on Widener University tonight in a match in Chester, PA. The Knights were looking to build off of their tie with Marymount University. However, Widener had other plans and defeated the Neumann 8-0.
Widener's Sam Baer dominated the game for the Pride. Baer scored three goals for Widener and also shared in a handful of assists on other goals. Widener outshot the Knights 29-2 for the game forcing the Knights to play constant defense.
Neumann falls to 0-1-2 on the year. The Knights will look to recover against conference opponent Baptist Bible this coming weekend. This will be the first conferenc game for the Knights this season.
