Women's Soccer Blanks Cedar Crest

ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Neumann University women’s soccer team blanked Cedar Crest, 2-0, Tuesday afternoon in a Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) contest.
Nica Meccariello scored both goals for the Knights, one in each half. The Knights outshot the Falcons 26-3.
Meccariello open the scoring in the first half off an assist from Colleen Rush. The freshman added an insurance goal midway through the second half.
Neumann is now 7-8-1 overall and 3-4 in the conference. The Knights will host Keystone on Saturday in their last home game of the regular season. The seniors will be honored prior to the 1 p.m. start.
