Men's Golf Opens at Bent Creek Invitational

LANCASTER, Pa. – The Neumann University men’s golf team opened it fall schedule at the Bent Creek Invitational, hosted by Franklin & Marshall, Monday afternoon.

 

The Knights tied Muhlenberg for fourth place, shooting a 328 on the afternoon, in the 19 team tournament. Messiah came in first, shooting 303. Franklin & Marshall was second (319) and Moravian placed third (323).

 

Shane Howey paced the Knights, shooting a 77 on the par 71, 6,232 yard course. He finished seventh overall. Rich Brandel shot an 82 (t-21). Keith Mastronardo had an 83 (t-25). Chris Donahue and Matt Waddington both shot an 86 (39), rounding out Neumann’s scoring.

 

Neumann will compete at the Wilmington University Fall Classic October 17-18.
