READING, Pa - The Neumann University cross country teams competed at the Albright College Inivtiational Saturday morning.
On the women's side, the Knights placed 7th/8 with 143 points. York College came in first, followed by Lincoln University and Penn College of Technology.
Chrissy Parr paced the Knights, finishing 25th in the pool at 51 runner. She finished the 6.1K race with a time of 32:06.
Megan Dodson came in 26th with a time of 32:16.
Caitlin Coleman placed 29th with a time of 32:45. Kaitlin Williams finished with a time of 34:21 (34th) and rounding out the top five was
Sarah Dodson with a time of 35:28 (40th).
Megan Birchall came in 44th with a time of 36:23.
The men did not place as a team. The top runner for the Knights was
Tim Schmitz who finished 19th out of 62 runners. His time was 31:21 in the 8.1K course.
David Bergamo finished second for the Knights with a time of 31:42 (27th).
Anthony Defrancesco (35:24) and
Chris Brown (35:25) finished 42nd and 43rd respectively.
Neumann will compete at the DeSales Invitational next Saturday,
