IMMACULATA, Pa. – The Neumann University cross country teams competed in the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Championships Saturday morning. The men and the women both finished seventh in their respective races.
On the women's side, Gwynedd-Mercy took first place. Marywood and Cabrini came in second and third, respectively.
Kelly Rehder paced the Knights coming in with a time of 23:30. Kristen Reagan was second for the Knights in 24:47. Kaitlyn Broadhurst finished in 25:09, Megan Dodson ran in 25:41 and Megan Birchall rounded out the scoring for Neumann in 26:10.
Caitlin Coleman (26:20) and Kaitlyn Williams (27:51) also ran for the Knights.
Gwynedd-Mercy took the title on the men's side. Marywood and Keystone placed second and third, consecutively.
Tim Schmitz placed first for the Knights in 31:42. Dave Bergamo was a second behind at 31:43. Anthony Defrancesco ran in a time of 34:04. Chris Brown finished with a time of 36:52 and David Matikowski had a time of 41:54. Also running for the Knights was Samir Loftlin (42:01).
