WYOMING, Del. – The Neumann College golf team finished tied for fourth place at the Sheraton Invitational Monday afternoon at Wild Quail Country Club.
Rutgers-Camden finished first with a two-day total of 631. West Chester University finished second, shooting a 658. Host Wesley College came in third with a two-day total of 338.
Neumann tied in fourth with Stevenson University with a two-day total of 675. Rounding out teams were Apprentice (687) and Immaculata (724).
Richard Brandel led the Knights and finished ninth place overall. He shot an 81 and 83 for a total score of 164 on the par 72, 6,794 yard course. Matthew Waddington tied for tenth with a two day total of 165 (79, 86). Mike Marenic shot a 170 (86, 84). Chris Donohue finished with a score of 177 (88, 89) and Shane Howey had a 187 (99, 88).
Neumann will be back on the golf course next Monday when it tees off with Swarthmore, Cabrini and Widener at the Rolling Green Country Club.
