WILMINGTON, Del. – The Neumann College golf team hosted the Neumann Invitational on Wednesday afternoon at the Brandywine Country Club. Neumann had two teams compete, the blue and gold teams.
Neumann Blue came in first out of the three teams with a score of 326. Philadelphia Biblical placed second with a score of 328 and Neumann Gold was third with 333.
Richard Brandel led the Blue team, shooting a 77 on the par 70 course. Jeremy Gates got a 79 and Shane Howey had an 80. Keith Mastronard shot a 90 on the afternoon and Dominic DiAngelus rounded out the Blue team with a 114.
Michael Marenic and Matthew Waddington led the Gold team, each shooting an 81. Chris Donohue had an 83 and Thomas Moran shot an 88. Michael Gonzales finished the afternoon shooting 100.
Neumann is preparing for the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Championships which will take place this weekend.
