Men's Lacrosse Wraps Up Season WIth Loss at Immaculata

IMMACULATA, Pa. – The Neumann College men’s lacrosse team fell in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action to Immaculata University, 12-10, Saturday afternoon to finish its 2009 season.

 

Justin Mailloux scored four goals for the Knights. Jake Boulay had 24 saves in net.

 

Immaculata netted the only three goals in the first quarter, which proved to be the difference. Neumann outscored the Mighty Macs in the second quarter, 5-4, and went into the half down 7-5.

 

The Knights then scored the first two goals of third quarter to tie the game at seven. The teams then traded goals for an 8-all score. Immaculata scored two of the last three goals in the quarter to again take a two-goal lead.

 

The teams remained even in the fourth quarter as well as the Mighty Macs pulled out a two goal win, 12-10.

 

Neumann finishes its season with a 2-13 overall record, 0-6 in the CSAC.
