D’Ambrosio Named CSAC Player of the Year

ASTON, Pa. – Senior Gabby D'Ambrosio, of the Neumann College women's lacrosse team, has been named the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Player of the Year, announced by the conference office Tuesday night.

 

D'Ambroiso was also named to the first team All-Conference along with teammate senior Kerri Sinclair. Freshman Alex Bohen was named second team All-Conference. Seniors Tiffany Baker and Rachael DiCicco, junior Colleen Finnegan and sophomore Kathleen Sinclair all received honorable mention.

 

D'Ambrosio leads the team this season with 66 goals and 11 assists for 77 points in 16 games. She scored her 200th career goal last week against Swarthmore.

 

Kerri Sinclair has played in 14 games. She leads the team in ground balls with 49. The senior is the defensive anchor for the team.

 

Bohen has played in all 16 games. She is the second leading scorer on the team with 43 goals and 10 assists.

 

Baker has played and started in all 16 games. She has five goals and six assists. She also played three games in goal.

 

DiCicco has scored 22 goals and notched nine assists in 16 games this season.

 

Finnegan is the third leading scorer on the team with 40 goals and seven assists.

 

Kathleen Sinclair is in her first season between the pipes for the Knights. She played 810 minutes and made 147 saves.

 

The Knights face the Cavaliers of Cabrini College this afternoon in the semifinals of the CSAC Championships. Game time is slated for 3:30 p.m.
