Men's Lacrosse Loses to Cyclones

DREXEL HILL, Pa. – The Neumann College men’s lacrosse team to Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) opponent Centenary College, 13-10, Saturday afternoon at Msgr. Bonner High School.

 

Dominic Collichio scored four goals for the Knights. Justin Mailloux netted two. Jake Boulay made 19 saves in net.

 

Jason Rieg had five goals for the Cyclones. Joe Swantkoski had four. Brian Troilo had 19 saves in net.

 

The two teams battled evenly during the first half, but Centenary took a two-goal lead, 7-5, at halftime.

 

The teams continued to battle. With 4:21 left in the third quarter, Matt Toth scored for the Knights to knot the game up at nine.

 

The Cyclones scored less then a minute later to retake the lead. Centenary scored three of the four goals in the fourth quarter to seal the win.

 

Neumann will finish the four-game home stand on Wednesday with a CSAC game against Marywood. The game is slated to begin at 4 p.m. at Msgr. Bonner High School.
