Day 2 of Softball Championship Rained Out - Neumann Crowned CSAC Champions
Bookmark and Share
ASTON, Pa. - Day two of the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Championships has been canceled due to the weather. Neumann College has been crowned the CSAC Champions after going 2-0 on Saturday and receives the AQ to the NCAA Tournament.

Neumann defeated Immaculata University, 10-0 in five innings, in its first game on Saturday. The Knights then beat Centenary College, 2-1, to advance to the championship game. With the win over the Cyclones, the Knights were the only undefeated team remaining in the tournament and thus received the conference's AQ.

Immaculata and Centenary were to meet in the first game Sunday morning. The winner would have met Neumann in the Championship match.

Kim Kirkpatrick was named the Tournemant MVP.

The Knights will wait for the NCAA announcement of the regional seedings to find out where they will travel this week. The announcement will be made on Monday.
What makes this the best time of the year?
