Two Knights Earn All-Region

ASTON, Pa. – Two Knights earned spots on the 2009 Louisville Slugger/ NFCA Division III All Region Teams. Angela Sebasto was named to the second team All-Region in the east as a utility player. Jennifer Goslin earned honors as a third team recipient.
Sebasto has already earned Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Player of the Year honors as well as first team all-conference. Sebasto is 18-3 overall this season with a 1.58 ERA. In 128.1 innings pitched, the senior has struck out 182 batters. She also has two perfect games this season.
Goslin has played in 37 games this season. The junior is batting .362 with 34 hits. She leads the team with 11 home runs. She also has five doubles and 32 RBI. In the first game of the CSAC Tournament, the junior hit a grand slam.
Neumann begins its NCAA Tournament play on Thursday as it travels to Salisbury, Md. The Knights will face host Sea Gulls at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 7.
