ALLENTOWN, Pa. - The Neumann University cross country teams competed that the Mule/Falcon Classic Cross Country Invitational Saturday morning, hosted by Cedar Crest College.
Neither team placed in the standings, but both had good showings individually.
Kaitlyn Williams led the women in the 5K run. She finished with a time of 25:45, good for 25th place out a pool of 65.
Sarah Dodson finished just behind Williams with a time of 25:58.
Megan Birchall placed 31st with a time of 25:06. Rounding out the women was
Joanne Cox. In her first race of the summer, she finished with a time of 32:19.
On the men's side,
Tim Schmitz once again paced the Knights. He finished in 13th place out of the 42 man pool with a time of 30:57.
David Bergamo wasn't far behind with a time of 31:27 (16th).
Samir Loftlin finished in 33rd with a time of 39:36.
The Knights will compete at the Philadelphia Small College Invitational next Saturday. The women begin at 12:15 and the men at 1 p.m.
