ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's ice hockey team dropped a 3-2 decision to Morrisville State Friday evening in non-conference action.

Andrew Love and Marlon Gardner scored for the Knights. William Lacasse notched two assists. Ross MacKinnon made 19 saves in net. 

Dave Schultz scored two goals for Morrisville. Tom Longland added two assists. Caylin Relkoff made 32 saves in net. 

Love opened the scoring in the second period off a pass from Lacasse 6:46 in. Schultz then netted two goals to put Morrisville up by a 2-1 score. The Mustangs would add another power play goal late in the second for a 3-1 lead. 

Gardner scored a 5-on-3 goal 4:51 into the third to get the Knights to within one goal. Despite outshooting Morrisville 16-1 third period, Neumann could not get the equalizer.

 Neumann is now 8-6-2 on the season. The two teams will meet again tomorrow beginning at 4 p.m.
