ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men’s basketball team defeated Philadelphia Biblical University, 66-54, Monday evening in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC). 
 

Na’Sheed Linton led the Knights with 16 points as he went 8-for-8 from the line. Ty Robinson netted 12 points. Toure’ Wright notched a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. 

Willie Miller had 15 points to lead the Crimson Eagles. Nate Schrader added 13 points and nine rebounds. Brett Zamroz netted 10 points. 

The beginning of the game featured five ties in the first eight minutes. In the final three minutes of the first half, Neumann went on a 9-2 to end the half to take a 10 point advantage, 35-25, into the break. 

The margin remained the same in the second half. The story of the game was shooting. Both teams finished 20-for-53 from the floor, however, Neumann shot 23-for-26 from the line (88.5 percent) and PBU went 12-for-24 (50.0 percent). 

Neumann (8-6, 6-1 CSAC) will travel to Cabrini on Thursday evening for a CSAC doubleheader. The women tip-off at 6 p.m., followed by the men at 8 p.m.
