ASTON, Pa. – Brittany Whetts, of the Neumann University women's basketball team, was named the ECAC Division III South Player of the Week, announced Tuesday.
Whetts was also named the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Player of the Week. The senior guided the Knights to a 3-0 week in conference action. She netted two double-doubles in the three games while averaging 24.3 points and 11.3 rebounds. The senior netted at least 21 points in the three games against Keystone, Rosemont and Centenary.
Last night, Whetts netted 16 points in just 19 minutes of action as Neumann defeated Philadelphia Biblical 75-47.
The Knights will travel to Cabrini on Thursday for a doubleheader with the men. Action begins at 6 p.m.
