Whetts Named CSAC Player of the Week for Second Consecutive Week

ASTON, Pa. – Brittany Whetts, of the Neumann University women’s basketball team, was named the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Player of the Week, for the week ending January 24.
Whetts earns this honor for the second consecutive week and led the Knights to a 3-0 record, all conference games, last week. Neumann defeated conference opponents Philadelphia Biblical, Cabrini and Gwynedd-Mercy. The senior averaged 19.7 points and 10.0 rebounds in the three games.
On the season, Whetts leads the team averaging 18.3 points and 10.6 rebounds per game. Neumann is currently 12-4 overall and 8-0 in conference play.
The Knights travel to Immaculata tonight for a doubleheader with the men. Tip-off for the women is at 6 p.m.
