ASTON, Pa. – Two Knights received conference honor, as the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Sunday announced the Men's Basketball End of the Year Awards this afternoon.
Na'Sheed Linton was named to the CSAC second team All-Conference and Marquise Boggs received honorable mention. Toure' Wright received the Sportsmanship Award. All three Knights have started in each game this season.
Linton earns all-conference honors for the first time in his career. This season, he leads the team, averaging 16.1 points per game. The senior has scored in double-figures in all by one game this season. He scored a season high 30 points against Cabrini in the last regular season game. He also averages over 35 minutes per game.
Boggs earns honorable mention for the first time in his career. He is averaging 11.2 points and 4.5 rebounds per game this year. The junior has connected on 30 three-pointers. He scored a season high 23 points against Rosemont. He is on the court for over 32 minutes each game and is making 75% of his free throws.
Wright is averaging 6.7 points and 6.8 rebounds per game this year. He is seconds on the team, pulling down 170 total boards
Neumann finished the regular season 14-11 overall and 12-6 in the conference. The Knights head into the conference playoffs as the No. 3 seed and will host No. 6 Centenary in the first round on Monday at 7 p.m.
