ASTON, Pa. – The Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) released its 2010 Women's Lacrosse Pre-Season Coaches' Poll. The defending conference champions Cabrini College was picked to finish No. 1, receiving eight first place votes.
Neumann was selected to finish third overall in the pre-season poll out of nine teams, receiving 61 points. The Knights will look to improve upon last year's appearance in the conference semi-finals with a championship appearance.
Leadership from returning players like Alex Bohen, Colleen Finnegan and Kathleen Sinclair will help Neumann achieve a championship appearance. Midfielder Alex Bohen finished up her freshman campaign 43 goals and ten assists. Finnegan, last season's leading scorer with 44 goals, will provide experience and a spark on the offensive end of the field. Goalkeeper Kathleen Sinclair will provide strong play between the pipes and sure up the defense.
The Knights will open up their season on March 2 at Methodist (N.C.)
