RYE, N.Y. – The Neumann University men’s ice hockey team played to a 0-0 tie with #13 Manhattanville College Saturday evening in ECAC West action.
Jonathan La Rose made 39 saves in net in his second start as a Knight. Four Knights had three shots in the game: Jordan Zalba, Matt Ward, William Lacasse and Sean Crozier. Neumann managed 27 total shots on goal.
Both teams had their share of chances on the power play. The Knights went 0-for-7 while the Valiants were 0-for-8.
Neumann and Manhattanville end its regular season series 1-1-1. The Valiants won the first game on the Knights home ice, 4-2. Neumann evened the series last night with a 4-3 win.
Neumann (11-8-3, 4-5-3 ECAC West) will play its last three regular season games on home ice. The Knights will host Elmira College next Friday and Saturday. The puck will drop at 7 p.m. for both contests.
