READING, Pa. – The Neumann University women’s lacrosse team dropped a 21-6 decision at Alvernia University, 21-6, Thursday afternoon.

Alex Bohen netted four goals for the Knights. Colleen Finengan added two. Kathleen Sinclair made 14 saves in net.

Bohen scored the Knights first two goals. After the first 10 minutes, the Alvernia had a 3-2 advantage. The Crusaders outscored the Knights 13-2 in final 20 minutes of the first half, including three goals in the last 19 seconds, to take a 17-4 lead into halftime.

Bohen scored her third and fourth goals in the second half. The Knights held the Crusaders to four goals in the second half, but the deficit was too much to overcome.

Neumann is now 1-3 on the season. The Knights will host Moravian College on Saturday beginning at 1 p.m.
