Golf Places 5th at Gettysburg

GETTYSBURG, Pa. – The Neumann University golf team placed fifth out of 15 teams at the Gettysburg Spring Invitational Tuesday afternoon.
Wesley came in first, shooting a 307 on the afternoon. Susquehanna scored 312 for second while Dickinson finished third with a score of 318.
Messiah finished just one shot ahead of Neumann with a 326. The Knights shot a 327 and McDaniel place sixth with a 328.
Thomas Moran paced the Knights, shooting a 78 on the par 72, 6,643 yard course. Chris Donahue shot an 80 on the afternoon. Rich Brandel (84), Matt Waddington (85) and Shane Howey (91) rounded out the golfers for Neumann.
The Knights will face Philadelphia University and the University of the Sciences on Saturday with the Tee Time at 12 p.m.
