Men's Lacrosse Falls to Stockton

POMONA, N.J. – The Neumann University men’s lacrosse team fell to Richard Stockton College, 19-10, Wednesday evening in non-conference action.

Tom Hedrick and Justin Mailloux each netted three goals for the Knights. Andrew Neubauer made 10 saves in net. Brian Friel also saw time in net.

Neumann jumped out to an early 2-0 lead with goals by Chuck Rudolph and Dominic Collichio. The Ospreys rattled off three straight goals. Mailloux scored his first goal and the two teams ended the first quarter tied at three. Stockton scored the first five goals of the second quarter. Matt Toth netted the Knights lone of the quarter and RSC went into halftime with an 11-4 lead.

The teams split four goals in the third quarter. The Knights scored four goals in the final quarter, but could not overcome the deficit and fell 19-10.

Neumann (1-5) opens conference play on Saturday as it travels to Marywood. The face-off is slated for 3 p.m.
