Women's Lacorsse Falls to Cyclones

ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women’s lacrosse team fell to Centenary College, 20-12, Saturday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.

Five Knights had a two-goal game; Tiffany Baker, Erica Crabtree, Alex Bohen, Colleen Finnegan and Suzanne Sheehan. Kathleen Sinclair made 21 saves in net.

Neumann jumped out to an early 2-0 lead with goals from Finnegan and Bohen. Centenary then netted the next seven goals. The teams would trade goals for the rest of the half and the Cyclones took an 11-5 lead into the break.

The Knights kept pace with the Cyclones in the second half, but the first half deficit was too much to overcome.

Neumann is now 2-7 overall and 1-2 in the conference. The Knights will travel to Immaculata on Tuesday for a CSAC contest beginning at 4 p.m.
