Best Places Second in Long Jump at TCNJ

EWING, N.J. – The Neumann University Track & Field competed at TCNJ Invitational Saturday afternoon.
Jeffrey Best led the men, qualifying for the 100-meter dash and finishing fifth with a time of 11.50. David Matkowski placed 20th in the 200 with a time of 24.46 and Andrew Bucko came in 17th in the 400 (56.44).
Best also placed second in the long jump with a distance of 20-00 1/2 feet. Sean Lafferty finished ninth in the javelin with a throw of 138-9.
On the women’s side, three Knights ran in the 800. Kelly Rehder finished 15th (2:45.05), Kaitlyn Broadhurst placed 17th (2:47.18) while Annamarie Conner came in 18th (2:54.35).
Neumann will compete at the Morgan Legacy Meet, hosted my Morgan State next Friday and Saturday.

100-meter: 5. Jeffrey Best 11.50
