Women's Lacrosse Drops to Cabrini

RADNOR, Pa. – The Neumann University women’s lacrosse team fell to Cabrini College, 19-7, Saturday morning in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.
Colleen Finnegan scored four goals for the Knights. Erica Crabtree netted two. Kathleen Sinclair made 14 saves in net.
Cabrini struck early and took a 2-0 lead in the first minute of play. Suzanne Sheehan put the Knights on the board for a 2-1 game eight minutes in.
The Cavaliers then rattled off nine straight goals over the next 13 minutes for an 11-1 advantage. Cabrini held a 13-3 lead at halftime.
Neumann scored the final three goals of the game, all by Finnegan, but could not overcome the deficit and fell 19-7.
The Knights (2-10, 1-4 CSAC) will host Gwynedd-Mercy on Wednesday afternoon beginning at 4 p.m. on the turf field.
