ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men’s tennis team defeated Gwynedd-Mercy College, 7-2, Thursday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.

In doubles action, Chris Brown and Dan Harnos defeated Eric Trinkle and Jared Morgan 8-3 in the first slot. At second doubles, the duo of Greg Bridgeman and Brian Crispin won 8-4 over Ryan Murray and Lou Vessels.

Brown followed doubles actions with an 8-0 win over Vessels at first singles. Harnos also won his singles match, 8-0, over Murray in the four slot. The Griffins had forfeits at third doubles and fifth and sixth singles.

Neumann (7-7, 5-1 CSAC) will host Baptist Bible on Saturday in the final conference match of the regular season. The match is slated to begin at 1 p.m.
