Women's Lacrosse Falls in OT

ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women’s lacrosse team fell to Bryn Mawr College, 15-14, in overtime Thursday evening in non-conference action.

Colleen Finnegan scored four goals in her final game. Alex Bohen netted three goals and two assists while Tiffany Baker added two. Kathleen Sinclair made 13 saves.

Gabby Marangell and Zoe Pond-McPherson each scored four goals for the Owls. Miranda Gordon-Zigel added three. Grace King made 15 saves in net for Bryn Mawr’s first win of the season.

The teams traded goals in the first half and went into half time knotted at six. With the score tied at seven in the second half, Bryn Mawr scored five straight goals to take a 12-7 lead. Neumann then shut down the Owls and turned on the offense. Lauren Frampton scored the tying goal with 2:28 left in regulation to tie the game at 12.

In the overtime session, the teams again traded goals. The Owls scored the game-winner with just four second left on the clock.

Neumann finishes its season with a 3-13 record.
