ASTON, Pa. - Neumann University's Josh Krautwald was named the Colonial States Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week in baseball and Gary Mitchell was named to the Honor Roll for the week ending April 25, 2010.

Krautwald took the mound in game one of a three game series with CSAC opponent Marywood University. The right hander threw seven strong innings for the Knights allowing just one hit and striking out four batters. He did not surrender a run and Neumann took home the first win in the sweep of Marywood. The sophomore improves to 3-0 on the season with an ERA of 2.20.

Mitchell hit the game winning two-run homerun in 10-9 non-conference win over Haverford College. He came up with a clutch two-run homerun to secure the victory in game three of the conference series against Marywood University.

The Knights are currently 16-13 on the season and 10-5 in the conference. With the wins over Marywood, Neumann secured a playoffs spot for the second consecutive season. The Knights will travel to Rowan on Wednesday for non-conference action beginning at 3:30 p.m.
