ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men’s tennis team fell 8-1 to Drew University Thursday afternoon in the final regular season match.

The Knights lone points was the result of a Drew forfeit at second singles to Greg Bridgeman.

Greg and Brian Crispin fought hard at second doubles, but fell to Matt Brisotti and Alex Belfiore 9-7. Dan Harnos fell in three sets at fourth singles, 6-4, 4-6, 6-2, to Elliot Smego.

Neumann (8-9) begins the conference playoffs on Sunday as the No. 2 seed. The Knights will face Gwynedd-Mercy in the first round at Healthplex in Springfield, Pa.
