Golf Places Second at NU Invitational

WILMINGTON, Del. – The Neumann University golf team finished 2nd/3 as it hosted the Neumann Invitational Wednesday afternoon.

Villanova finished first with a scored a 308. The Knights placed second, shooting 324 and Immaculata came in third with 328.

Chris Donahue led the Knights, shooting a 76 on the afternoon. Shane Howey finished his round shooting a 77. Matt Waddington shot an 82 while Thomas Moran and Jeremy Gates shot an 89.

Also playing for the Knights were Rich Brandel (79), Tyler Hiriak (82), Keith Mastronardo (85) and Hank Abbot (85).

Neumann will compete at the Franklin & Marshall 2010 Spring Invitational next Monday.
