Brown Named Men's Tennis 2010 Player of the Year

ASTON, Pa. - Neumann University’s junior Chris Brown was named 2010 Men’s Tennis Player of the Year for The Colonial States Athletic Conference, announced Monday.
Brown had a perfect conference record winning all seven conference matches on the year playing the number one singles. Brown finished his junior year with a 10-5 overall record. Along with being named Player of the Year Brown received 1st Team All-Conference for singles.
Senior Dan Harnos joined Brown on 1st Team All Conference Singles. Harnos finished the season with a 6-0 conference record at No. 4 singles. Also honored for their singles play where Greg Christiansen and Abe Joseph who both named to 2nd Team All-Conference. Greg Bridgeman and Brian Crispin received Honorable Mention.
Three doubles teams received CSAC All-Conference honors. Brian Crispin and Greg Bridgeman were named to the 1st Team All-Conference Doubles finishing with a 9-5 record overall and 4-0 in conference play.
The No. 1 doubles team of Dan Harnos and Chris Brown with a 9-8 overall record and 5-1 in conference play earned 2nd Team All-Conference. Joining them were the doubles pair Abe Joseph and Greg Christiansen.
Andrew Raimundo was Neumann’s representative on the CSAC Sportsmanship Award recipient for the 2010 season.
Neumann finished the season with a 6-1 conference record and a 9-10 overall record and was the runner-up in the conference.
