Neumann University senior, Chrystina Amelotti, completed basic training for the Army National Guard and was recognized at BCT Graduation at Fort Leonard Wood last weekend.
While at basic training, Amelotti received the Sharp Shooter Award and Best Platoon Warrior Stakes Competition. She also held the title of Platoon Sergeant for a cycle.
Amelotti scored a 293 out of a possible 300 in the Army Physical Fitness Test (APFT).

Neumann University Junior, Chrystina Amelotti, from Ridley, Pennsylvania enlisted on March 10, 2010 into the Army National Guard.
She graduated in 2006 from Ridley High School and Amelotti has been attending Neumann with a major in Criminal Justice, and current captain of the women's volleyball team. Her future plans are to hopefully get into the FBI with the help of the military.
Amelotti scored high enough on the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) to receive a job as a Military Intelligence Analyst, known as 35F. Intelligence specialists use information derived from all intelligence disciplines to determine changes in enemy capabilities, vulnerabilities, and probable courses of action. The Intelligence Analyst is primarily responsible for supervising, coordinating and participating in the analysis, processing and distribution of strategic and tactical intelligence.
Amelotti's ship out date is May 25, 2010 to Ft. Leonard wood, Missouri for basic training. Once back she will continue to finish her senior year at Neumann and help lead the way for Neumann's women's volleyball.
