Goslin Named ECAC South Player of the Year

CAPE COD, Mass. – Jennifer Goslin, of the Neumann University softball team, has been named the 2010 ECAC Division III South Region Softball Player of the Year, announced by the conference office.
Goslin also earned first team honors at first base. Goslin led the Knights with a .534 batting average and 52 RBI. She tallied 62 hits, including 19 doubles and five home runs. Goslin finished the season in the top five in Division III in batting average and walks (0.83/game). She helped lead the Knights to an NCAA Tournament berth.
This is just one of many awards that the senior has garnered this season. She was named the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Player of the Year, earned first team honors and was named to the Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division III All-Region Team in the East first team.
Neumann won its third straight conference title in 2010 and advanced to the NCAA Regional Tournament. The Knights finished their season with a 27-18 overall record and 21-1 in the CSAC.
