ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University volleyball team has been picked to finish second in the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) pre-season poll, voted on by the coaches.
Cabrini College was picked as the favorite, receiving 141 points and 10 first place votes. Neumann received 121 points while Philadelphia Biblical University was picked to finish third with 119 points and one first place vote.
The Knights finished the 2009 season 11-24 overall and 10-1 in CSAC action. Neumann fell to Philadelphia Biblical, 3-2, in the conference semifinals.
Neumann opens the 2010 season at the Haverford College Invitational on September 4 & 5.
