Hedden Signs 25-game tryout with Rochester Americans
ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Michael Hedden has signed a 25-game professional try-out with the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League.
Hedden, 26, comes to Rochester after posting a breakout season with the ECHL's Toledo Walleye in 2010-11. A native of Dunnville, Ontario, Hedden led the Walleye with a career-high 32 goals and finished third on the team in scoring with 52 points in 57 games. He also made his American Hockey League debut this season, assisting on one goal in a combined four games between the Grand Rapids Griffins and Rockford IceHogs.
Hedden is expected to be in the Amerks lineup this weekend as Rochester brings the 2010-11 American Hockey League season to a close.

ASTON, Pa. – Former Neumann University ice hockey player Mike Hedden is back in the AHL, this time signing an agreement with the Rockford IceHogs on Tuesday, March 29th. The left winger will wear number 11 for the IceHogs. Rockford is affiliated with the Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks.
Hedden has played most of this season with the Toledo Walleye of the ECHL, registering 29 goals and 17 assists for 46 points in just 54 games. His 46 points rank 5th on the Walleye in scoring. In three previous games playing for the Grand Rapids Griffins of the AHL, the former Knight has registered one assist and is a +1.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Michael Hedden, former player for the Neumann University men's ice hockey team, was called up to the Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League on Tuesday, March 22.
Hedden has been with the Toledo Walleye of the ECHL for most of the season. In 52 games this season, Hedden has 29 goals, nine on the power play, and 16 assists for 45 points. He has played one game with Grand Rapids and was a minus-1.
Toledo and Grand Rapids are affiliated with the Detroit Red Wings of the National Hockey League.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Michael Hedden, former player for the Neumann University men's ice hockey team, was called up to the Grand Rapids Griffins, of the American Hockey League.
Hedden started this season with the Toledo Walleye of the ECHL. In 66 games, he had 18 goals and 14 assists for 32 points. Toledo and Grand Rapids are affiliated with the Detroit Red Wings of the National Hockey League.
Hedden will make his debut with the Griffins tonight when Grand Rapids hosts the Chicago Wolves.
