ASTON, Pa. – Caleb Clanton, of the Neumann University men's soccer team, and Sarah Schroeder, of the women's tennis team, have received weekly Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Honors. Clanton was named the Player of the Week while Schroder was named to the Honor Roll.
Clanton scored both goals for Neumann in its 2-0 win over rival Cabrini to remain perfect in CSAC action, moving to 3-0. The freshman now has three goals on the season.
Schroeder went 4-0 overall last week, 2-0 in singles and 2-0 in doubles. To start the week, the freshman won a marathon doubles match with her partner, 9-7, over Immaculata. She went on to sweep the rest of her matches as the Knights improved to 6-2 in conference action.
The men's soccer team is back on the field tonight when as they travel north to face Keystone. Women's tennis travels to Penn State-Berks on Tuesday for non-conference action.
