HERSHEY, Pa. – Matt Tendler, of the Neumann University men's ice hockey team, has signed an amateur tryout agreement with the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey league, announced on Wednesday.
Tendler just completed his senior season, where he posted a record of 6-4-0, a goals-against average of 2.98 and a save percentage of .888.
The 5-8, 170-lb. native of Warminster, Pa. appeared in a total of 35 games over his four-year career with the Knights and holds a record of 19-8-2, a goals-against average of 2.75 and a save percentage of .895. He was a member of the 2009 Division III National Championship team.
