Box Score

ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's soccer team defeated Immaculata 2-0 on Monday evening in a first round game of the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) postseason.

Neumann notched both goals in the first half as it kept most of the play in the Immaculata end of the field. Emily Sanders scored her fourth goal in three games in the 22nd minute. She took the ball just past midfield and used her speed as she dribbled down the line and straight to the goal. She didn't miss as she booted it past the Mighty Mac keeper for a 1-0 lead.

Brooke Harvey gave the Knights a 2-0 lead as she sank a cross from Jordyn Agresta with just 55 seconds left in the first half.

Neumann made the 2-0 lead stand as Immaculata could not get a ball past the Knights defense and keeper Briana King. The Knights outshot the Mighty Macs 22-10 overall and 10-1 on goal.

With the win, Neumann (10-7-1) advances to the CSAC semifinals and will travel to Cabrini College on Wednesday evening.
