CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – The Neumann University men's soccer team opened the 2013 season in style with a 1-0 win at DeSales University on Friday afternoon.

Tben Donnie netted his first collegiate goal with under two minutes remaining in regulation to break the scoreless game. Mike Atallian assisted on the goal.

The teams battled for 88 minutes of scoreless action as the defense played well for both sides. The Knights notched 15 shot while the Bulldogs had 11. Both teams had 10 in the second half as the action picked up.

Alex Lacko picked up the shutout in net, making two saves in 90 minutes.

Neumann (1-0) will play at Muhlenberg tomorrow afternoon beginning at 5:00 PM.
