RADNOR, Pa. – The Neumann University women's lacrosse team fell to Cabrini College 21-8 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Championship game on Saturday afternoon.

Gabbey Murray and Koula Gregor each netted three goals for the Knights. Emily Sanders notched two assists. Sam Kotowski made 16 saves in net.   

Murray scored the Knights two goals in the first half. The Cavaliers held a 13-2 lead at the half.

Neumann's first six shots of the game all found the back of the net. To start the second half, the Knights scored five of the first six goals to make the score 14-7. Cabrini then scored the next four goals to take back the momentum of the game.

Murray scored what ended up being the Knights' final goal for an 18-8 game. The Cavaliers scored the game's final three goals for the 21-3 final.

Neumann is now 12-5 overall and will wait for the ECAC Announcement to see if its season will continue.
