RADNOR, Pa. – The Neumann University women's lacrosse team fell to Cabrini College 19-2 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Championship game Saturday afternoon.

Jordan Hopkins and Shae Risley were the two goal scorers for Neumann. Hopkins had three shots, and Risley had two. Rebecca Dolenti also had two shots. Gabby Curry made eight saves in net.

The game was tough from the beginning and the Cavaliers scored two goals in the first three minutes. Cabrini held a 12-0 lead at the half.

The Knights netted their first goal in the 22:12 mark of the second half when Hopkins scored on a free position shot for a 16-1 game. Cabrini netted three more goals before Risley scored the last goal of the game with 6:50 remaining.

Neumann is 11-6 overall and will now wait for the ECAC announcement to see if its season will continue.
