HOBOKEN, N.J. – The Neumann University women's lacrosse team wrapped up the 2015 season in the first round of the ECAC Mid-Atlantic Tournament, falling 21-6 to Stevens Institute of Technology on Wednesday evening.
Jordan Hopkins led the Knights with three goals and an assist. Gabby Curry made six saves in net.
Emily Sanders opened the scoring for Neumann 10 minutes into the first half for a 7-1 score. The Knights netted three goals in the final 11 minutes of the half by Amanda Fedak, Alexa McIntyre and Hopkins for an 11-4 score at the half.
Hopkins scored Neumann's two goals of the second half, coming back-to-back later in the half.
The Knights had 17 shots in the game, led by Hopkins with eight.
Neumann finishes its season 11-7 and as the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) runner-up!
