This season, the Neumann University basketball teams will contribute 50 cents for every layup made by the Knights at each home game.

Jacob's Layups is a non-profit organization and was founded by Michael and Fran Sales in memory of their son Jacob. Jacob had been affected by Necrotizing Enterocolitis, a rare yet fatal disease that attacked the bowels of newborn children, usually in pre-mature infants.
