Mikko Virtanen, of the men's ice hockey team, is this week's Neumann University Athlete of the Week.

Virtanen was also named to the ECAC West honor roll, for the week ending January 13.

Virtanen scored his first collegiate goal in a 5-2 win over Fredonia State. The goal ended up being the game-winning goal as well. The freshman also drew an assist to finish the game with two points and a +3.
