Neumann University Athletics

Anna Attardi, of the women's soccer team, is this week's Neumann University Athlete of the Week. The freshman was also named the CSAC Defensive Player of the Week.

Attardi notched two shutout wins as Neumann went 2-0 in CSAC action last week. In a 3-0 win over Notre Dame, Attardi and the Knights' defense held the Gators to just one shot. In a 1-0 win over Keystone, the freshman made six saves, most of which were difficult saves to keep the Giants off the board. Attardi has not allowed a goal in the past three games and only one goal in the last four.
