Melanie Malseed, of the women's volleyball team, is this week's Neumann University Athlete of the Week.

Malseed surpassed the 1,000 career kill mark in a 3-0 win over Marywood in the Atlantic East opener. Her kill to open the second set marked her 1,000th. For the week, Malseed led the Knights with 26 kills and 27 digs as Neumann opened conference action 2-0. The junior was also named to the Atlantic East weekly honor roll.
