Neumann University Athletics

Nafisa Saunders, of the women's basketball team, is this week's Neumann University Athlete of the Week. 

Saunders averaged 31.0 points and 10.0 rebounds as Neumann went 2-0 in two non-conference games. In a 78-71 win at Susquehanna, she netted 21 points. At Penn State Abington, Saunders scored 41 points in a 73-65 win, the second most in a single-game for the women's basketball program. She also added 14 rebounds for a double-double. 

The senior was also named the Atlantic East Player of the Week for the third time.
